See Magic In Action

In this candid and moving account, I show that any of us are capable of overcoming even our darkest of pains by embracing the most powerful tool we have....LOVE.

In this talk, I share how boundaries allowed me to accept the limitations of love and acceptance my mother would give. Boundaries also gave me the opportunity to build a self-love, independent of family, friends and successes.

You may know what the term "Understudy" means in theatre, but do you know what a "Swing" is? Do you know what it takes to be one, successfully? I do. In this talk I use my 25 years of experience as a professional performer and the decade I've worked on Broadway as various forms of a Swing to educate listeners about the position that keeps long running shows going. A position that currently has no space in educational settings.

“We asked him to speak at one of our all-conference attendee sessions—it was very, very well received.

We had so much demand, we had to do a simulcast in another room to accommodate everyone.

People all wanted to be in the same room with him.

Next time, we realized, we’ll have to give him the whole ballroom.”

— Blake Kush, Director of Training and Outreach, NY State Office of Victim Service

Soldier of Love®- Signature TedxTalk

My first person account of how sexual violence impacted my sense of self-value and intimate relationships, as well as, how I continue to do my best to actively heal each day.

Survivor Support

As a survivor of multiple childhood sexual abuses, I’ll speak to ways communities can support the healing that’s needed for a survivor. I’ll also share my journey to healing as an example of how our past doesn’t have to inform our present or dictate our future.

“He’s a great storyteller. And he’s very, very, very engaging. When you’re in the room with him, it’s whoa—he’s got a presence.

Nobody’s looking at their phone. Nobody’s distracted. He owns the room.”

— Blake Kush, Director of Training and Outreach, NY State Office of Victim Service

“That’s why Magic is such a powerful speaker: He allows intimacy to be shared between himself and the audience while still maintaining boundaries, so no one feels uncomfortable or obligated. He leaves an audience member thinking, It’s possible for me to forget. It’s possible for me to be bigger. It’s possible for me to make a difference.”

— Tricia Brouk, Executive Producer, Speakers Who Dare, former Executive Producer of TEDxLincolnSquare in New York City, host of The Big Talk podcast

“He’s a Broadway star, at the top of his craft. And he has turned his experience into a message of redemption, a story of overcoming.

We bring in some of the best speakers from across the country for a very big conference—and one of our great keynote speakers has been Antuan. He was incredible.
